Kelechi Osemele injured, Ravens sign Bobbie Williams

The injury to Ravens' rookie Kelechi Osemele has kept him out of practice and is the reason Baltimore signed veteran Bobbie Williams. Osemele, a 2nd round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft  suffered a quadriceps injury however they expect him to be fine by the start of training camp.

The Ravens may decide to go with Williams as this injury has caused Oseleme to miss valuable practise time.

Williams was given an 800 thousand dollar signing bonus, despite turning 36 in September, and is currently getting the 1st team reps in minicamp. He played well in 9 games for the Bengals last season, but injuries and age might cause his abilities to decline significantly in 2012. There’s a reason why he was still available into June.
